THE THERAPISTS
Graeme Scott
HPC ART PSYCHOTHERAPIST, MA Art Therapy, BA Hons Fine Art
Graeme has been working as artist and facilitator of arts projects for 16 years, in both mental health and learning disability settings. He qualified as an art psychotherapist in 2007 and has been with Creative Expression since April 2008. Recognising the importance of considering the client as an individual, he has a psychodynamic, philosophical and phenomenological approach to practice. A specific area of interest is in the impact social exclusion and stigmatisation has on the individuals’ perception of their relationship with the world and their place within the world. Only by understanding how we became who we are, can we be empowered to make the decisions required for lasting change.
